Responding to Christ's call to clothe our brothers and sisters, Threads of Hope, a ministry of Highland Presbyterian Church, provides clothing, shoes and accessories to families in need from Harford County, MD and surrounding areas.
Donations of clean clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children in nearly new or good condition are accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12:30 and 3:00 or by special arrangement. Small household items are accepted on a limited basis as well as bed linens and towels in good condition.
We do not accept any formal or vintage clothing, household appliances, toys, books or furniture.
Threads of Hope volunteers reserve the right to refuse any items that do not meet the above guidelines.
Threads of Hope is open to the public on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 am, on the 3rd Thursday of each month for Seniors only, or by appointment.
Shoppers may enter and exit the church building through the lower doors to the left of the main entrance.
After checking in each shopper will receive two bags. No outside bags, carts or containers are allowed.
Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
