Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic Threads of Hope is closed for the normal “Second Saturday Shopping Days” until further notice. Currently, we are only able to assist the community in an emergency situation.
We are now able to accept donations by scheduling an appointment following these guidelines:
We are staffed on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Contact us at the church office 410-452-9394 to arrange an appointment . Everyone will be asked to wear a mask when bringing donations to the church.
We take clothing of all seasons. Clothing must be in good, useable condition with no stains, rips, missing buttons or broken zippers. No smelly or dirty bags of clothing will be accepted. We reserve the right to turn away such donations. Please do not leave donations outside doors of the church.
We understand if clothing is gently used, but we prefer it have a year’s worth of wear left in it.
We also accept shoes, pocketbooks, jackets, winter coats, sweatshirts and hoodies as well as sheets, towels, blankets, throw pillows and flannel sheets.
We are currently working with a non-profit organization in East Baltimore that reaches out to neighborhoods in need. They are especially requesting summer men’s clothing, children’s clothing, shoes for all ages and sheets and towels. We are working to supply them with clothing twice a month.
